We are looking for an individual who is passionate about communities and housing. Reporting to the CEO of Southmead Development Trust you will drive forwards Southmead Development Trust’s ambitions to deliver physical regeneration projects in Southmead including community led housing. You will manage consultants, funders, advisors, contractors and at all times ensuring the community’s interests are championed and fostering a genuine sense of community ownership. In the coming year we plan to submit a planning application for 300 community owned homes in partnership with United Communities Housing Association.
The salary will be approximately 40k per annum (pro-rata), the hours are approximately 22.5 per week to be worked flexibly. This is a fixed term 24 month contract. If successful this may be extended.

Essential to the role is good organisational ability and experience in using MS Office and databases. Knowledge in managing social media platforms and website content is also required (although no coding experience is necessary). 
This role will involve contributing to funding applications and bids so experience in this is desirable. 
We’re looking for a team player, with a living Christian faith (Genuine Occupational Requirement) who can work well with the Incumbent, church volunteers, and members of the local community.
Based at St Stephens, this one year post is part time (8hrs/wk). There is some flexibility for the working pattern, but ideally we are looking for someone to work Tuesday, Thursday and Friday mornings.

If that’s you, this role will be to join our team delivering the Diabetes Prevention Programme in Southmead/North Bristol.
Working closely with healthcare professionals, the project addresses issues that may be causing or exacerbating Type 2 Diabetes. The Wellbeing Facilitator will work with individuals to assess their health needs and then work with them, in the context of a group, to identify individual goals and encourage them to achieve these.
