Based at our professional workshop in Horfield, our two-day accredited bike mechanics courses teach the fundamentals of fixing bikes in a constructive, practical environment.
Successful attendees will leave with a City & Guilds Level 1 qualification in cycle mechanics – and total confidence in their skills.
Who is it for?
Anyone aged 18+ with a basic knowledge of bikes and bike tools. Perfect if you use your bike for commuting or excursions – and for those looking to kick-start a career in cycle mechanics.
What does it cover?
- Repair a cycle puncture
- Remove and replace a cycle rim brake assembly
- Remove and replace a cycle gear assembly
- Carry out a systematic cycle check
